Job Title: Laboratory Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Assistant to support our testing team. The role involves assisting with sample preparation and ensuring all lab processes are executed efficiently to meet sample turnaround goals.

• Manage a high volume of incoming samples per day for preparation.
• Assist with weighing samples and plating.
• Enter sample data into management systems accurately and promptly.
• Conduct lab testing on all incoming samples.
• Verify results and submit them for transmission.
• Identify non-conformances and out-of-specifications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Proficient in sample preparation and lab testing.
• Strong skills in biology prep, plating, and specimen processing.
• Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences.
• 0-1 years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with lab techniques such as pipetting, assays, dilutions, media preparation, aseptic techniques, and staining.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.

The role is based in a lab setting that requires standing on your feet and handling a high volume of samples. The position requires working overtime as necessary, with shifts from Sunday to Thursday, 1pm to 9:30pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tustin, CA.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Tustin,CA.
