Trial Litigation Paralegal – Remote (California Litigation Experience Required)

Required: Candidates must have hands-on experience supporting California state court civil litigation, including familiarity with California court rules, procedures, and filings. Applicants with litigation experience exclusively in other states will not be considered. Must be available to work Pacific Time hours.

Our client, a fast-paced California litigation firm, is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support a busy trial practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an organized, proactive professional with strong hands-on trial preparation experience who can effectively manage multiple matters and competing deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with trial preparation and trial-related matters
• Prepare and organize trial documents, exhibits, binders, and other trial materials
• Assist with pretrial filings, motions in limine, and other time-sensitive trial deadlines
• Coordinate witnesses, experts, and trial logistics
• Manage court filings and monitor deadlines
• Maintain case files and litigation calendars
• Support attorneys through all phases of litigation
• Assist with discovery and document management
• Handle multiple matters and competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail

Qualifications

• 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience
• Strong hands-on trial preparation experience
• Experience with California civil litigation, including California state court rules, procedures, and filings required
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Ability to prioritize and respond to shifting and time-sensitive assignments • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Work Arrangement

This is a fully remote position open to qualified candidates nationwide. Candidates must be available to work Pacific Time hours.

This position is well suited for someone who is responsive, adaptable, collaborative, and comfortable working with a high degree of independence in an environment where priorities may shift and attorneys rely on paralegals to take initiative and manage their assignments proactively.

Compensation

Salary range is $70,000 – $85,000, depending on experience.
